Dark Horse specialises in custom homes, renovations, and carpentry across greater Western Sydney.
Brendan’s journey in construction began right after graduating from St Dominics College, where his passion for the industry was ignited. He started with a commercial concreting company, diving into significant projects like the construction of a new mental health unit at Silverwater Correctional Facility. This experience taught him the crucial lessons of time management and efficiency, as he navigated complex site protocols. Over the years, Brendan's expertise grew, laying a solid foundation for his future in construction.
With a desire to focus on carpentry, Brendan pursued an apprenticeship and joined Everlast Building Services, specialising in luxury homes in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Rising to the position of Lead Supervisor, he collaborated with esteemed architects and builders on detail-oriented projects that emphasized client satisfaction. Eventually, wanting to be closer to home as he started his own family, he established Dark Horse Projects in 2016 in Penrith. He aimed to bridge the quality gap between the Eastern and Western Suburbs, ensuring that excellent workmanship was accessible regardless of budget.
Committed to nurturing the next generation, Brendan prioritises hiring apprentices and sharing his knowledge. He has successfully completed various residential and commercial projects since launching his business.
